How to get to Storlien

From Trondheim S you can take the train to Storlien on the Meråker railway. The journey is just about an hour and a half long.

SJ Nord has two daily departures each way between Trondheim and Storlien.

The hotel area includes a ski resort, cross-country ski trails, hiking paths, and bike trails. You will find slopes suited for all skill levels at the ski center, which features 9 ski lifts and 23 ski trails. There are two FunParks, one large and one for children, as well as ski rentals and ski schools. Facilities such as a warming hut, restaurant, restrooms, and illuminated ski trails are also available. In the vicinity of the ski trails, you can fish year-round in beautiful mountain surroundings. Purchase a fishing permit for the Högfjällshotellet’s fishing waters and try your luck!

In Storlien, you’ll find Flammans Skafferi, where the stone oven is fired up, and guests are invited to enjoy delightful dinners made with ingredients sourced from the area’s forests, mountains, and waterways.
