From May 3rd to June 15th, Bane NOR will be modernizing the railway tracks on the Trønderbanen line. This means that train services will be suspended during parts of the day.
The work will take place between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM throughout the entire period, which means that most daytime train departures will be affected.
To ensure a seamless travel experience for passengers in Trøndelag, SJ Norge will provide a shuttle bus service from May 3rd to June 1st. The shuttle bus will depart 30 minutes before the regular train departure time.
The work is divided in three stages:
The section between Trondheim S and Stjørdal will be closed from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. All passengers are referred to the shuttle bus service.
In addition, the following train departures will be cancelled — passengers are referred to the shuttle bus:
- Steinkjer at 05:06 – Lerkendal at 07:22
- Steinkjer at 06:02 – Lerkendal at 08:14
- Mo i Rana at 08:11 – Trondheim S at 14:13
- Trondheim S at 16:00 – Mo i Rana at 22:48

When trains are operating, they do not stop at Hell Station on northbound journeys.
The section between Trondheim S and Steinkjer will be closed from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. All passengers are referred to the shuttle bus service.
In addition, the following train departures are cancelled and replaced with replacement buses:
- Mo i Rana at 08:11 – Trondheim S at 14:13
- Trondheim S at 16:00 – Mo i Rana at 22:48

- Trondheim S at 16:00 – Mo i Rana at 22:48

Holidays in May:
- On Thursday, May 1st, the bus replacements will operate according to the Sunday schedule.
- On Saturday, May 17th, trains will run as on a regular Saturday. Bane NOR will pause the construction work, so trains will operate as normal that day.
- On Thursday, May 29th (Ascension Day), th ebus replacements will operate according to the Sunday schedule.
